Volunteer Opportunities

We have many volunteer opportunities. All Volunteers must have a Criminal History Screening, current TB test, attend our Orientation training and work with our coordinator to find a good fit for your skills. Volunteer Committee

Our Volunteer Committee plays a very important role. Among the tasks completed are: preparing special dishes for Holidays, shopping and wrapping gifts at Christmas, taking photos and writing stories documenting our Special Events, manning booths at community events, assist in planning and promoting our Fundraising efforts.

One Day Maintenance Projects

Driftwood campus. Frequently, our biggest need is to have volunteers who are willing and able to help with grounds maintenance and building projects. One day projects (usually for a group of people) are how we get many goals accomplished. If you have a group and want to do something productive, we are the place for you.

General Volunteer Needs

All offices (Driftwood, Laredo, New Braunfels, Brownwood, Corpus Christi andHarlingen): Cooking for Special Occasions, Clerical help, Babysitting and entertainment during parent training sessions, Christmas party help (wrapping, shopping, cooking, collecting gifts, asking businesses for help).

Tutors

Driftwood campus. We have boys who need extra help to accomplish their educational goals. You do not need to be a teacher. You just need to have patience and understanding. Our teachers and principal will guide you in determining what materials to use for the child with whom you are working.

Donation Room Organizer

Driftwood campus. We have two donation rooms. One is for the clothing and items for our boys in the Pathfinders program. The other room is for all of our foster care and adoption offices who work with many younger children. We need volunteers to come about once monthly to keep those rooms organized and functional.

Eagle Scout Projects

It has been our privilege to have many Eagle Scouts come to our Driftwood campus to complete their project. Often, our boys are able to help with the project.

Christmas Projects

Each year, we wish to make Christmas extra special for lots of children. This takes a monumental task force. We really appreciate any group who is willing to help with this daunting and delightful task.

You can also make a donation or donate an item from our needs list for the Pathfinder's Ranch and our transitional living services. We are always overjoyed to have the community help keep our children safe!
